Delivery Information

How long does delivery take after ordering?

Depending on your order date, meals will be delivered between 4 and 7 days.

When are your delivery days?

Currently, our delivery days are Tuesday and Thursday.

Can my delivery be staggered?

Yes, due to our current twice-weekly delivery slots, you are able to customise your order and have your meals delivered fresh throughout the week.

How does delivery work?

We deliver your meals personally via an isothermal refrigerated container. On receipt of your meals we recommend you refrigerate them immediately. If someone else is taking delivery of your meals on your behalf, please advise them to do the same immediately.

I am worried that my order hasn’t reached me at the right temperature?

If you have ANY doubts at all, contact us immediately and DO NOT attempt to consume the product. If any goods are not fit for consumption on receipt of the delivery, please contact us immediately.

You must NOT consume a product that you believe not to be at the right temperature (Over 8 degrees celsius – foods standard agency regulations 852/2004 amended 2006) or if it is not fit for consumption.

Storage & Eating

Do your meals arrive fresh or frozen?

All of our meals arrive fresh.

How do I store the meals and how long do they last for?

All meals must be refrigerated immediately upon delivery. We do not use any preservatives in our meals and all meals can be refrigerated for up to 3 days after delivery. We deliver twice a week, meaning you can enjoy fresh preservative and additive free meals all week with no need to freeze!

Can the meals be eaten cold without reheating?

Apart from rice dishes, which must be heated till piping hot, all of our meals can be safely eaten cold.

How long do I reheat the meals for?

Slightly open the box, remove the sauce, and microwave for approximately two minutes (one minute for breakfast dishes) check the product is piping hot before consumption.

CAN I AMEND AN ORDER ONCE IT HAS BEEN PLACED?

Yes, email us directly via info@fitfoodcanarias.com and as long as your menu plan hasn’t been dispatched we will do our best to accommodate any requests or additional meals.

WHAT IS THE MACRO AND NUTRITIONAL INFORMATION FOR EACH DISH?

Our resident nutritionists have balanced each meal. The macros and nutritional information for every dish and meal plan can be found on each meal’s product page. We also label this information on each of the dishes when they are sent out.

DO YOU OFFER VEGAN OR VEGETARIAN MEALS?

Yes, we have a selection of vegan, vegetarian and pescatarian meals or contact us directly via info@fitfoodcanarias.com to discuss your requirements.

CAN I CUSTOMISE MY MEALS?

We currently have a set menu plan, although please contact us directly via info@fitfoodcanarias.com if you would like to discuss your specific goals.
